Mark Rodriguez is a strategic and people-focused lending executive with 28 years in financial services, including 23 years with Partners Federal Credit Union, the $2.7B financial institution serving The Walt Disney Company. Since 2012, he has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, directing enterprise-wide lending operations spanning mortgage, consumer, and commercial portfolios, loan servicing, credit risk, and product innovation.
Under Mark’s leadership, Partners achieved record-breaking mortgage originations, maintained a position among the Top 100 credit union lenders for more than a decade, and consistently exceeded peer and national loan growth averages. He built a $110M commercial lending portfolio with strong governance oversight and implemented transformative credit decisioning models—most recently launching an AI-driven solution with Experian in 2025 that accelerated approvals and improved funding ratios.
Mark is recognized for leading large-scale digital transformations that position credit unions competitively alongside larger, better-funded institutions. His initiatives modernized operations from paper-based lending to mobile-first, text-enabled loan funding, reducing application-to-funding time to minutes. He also navigated the organization through high-delinquency cycles and the mortgage crisis by creating a $50M+ modification portfolio and implementing industry best practices in collections outsourcing and technology-enabled member engagement.
A champion of workplace culture, Mark created an employee-first environment where engagement scores consistently ranked highest in the organization. His leadership style is rooted in accessibility and mentorship—holding bi-weekly meetings with employees at all levels, investing in leadership development, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve enterprise goals. Many of his team members have gone on to higher leadership roles within the industry.
Beyond his organizational impact, Mark is a respected voice in the lending community. He has served on advisory boards for Experian, TransUnion, Cenlar, and Temenos, contributing to national discussions on credit risk, lending technology, and member experience innovation. He is an active member of CUREN (Credit Union Real Estate Network), ACUMA (American Credit Union Mortgage Association), and the America’s Credit Union Council (formerly CUNA Lending Council).
Mark holds a B.B.A. from Colorado State University, an A.A. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is a Credit Union Business Lending Professional (CUBLP) certified by the University of Wisconsin/CUNA. He has completed the Disney Executive Leadership Development Program and the Ecocentric Leadership Development Program, a derivative of the Center for Creative Leadership.
